WHAT IS CHILLERS?
An Industrial Chiller is a device used for refrigeration, which helps to remove heat from a system and then transfer it to another one. Basically, it is used for lowering the temperature of any type of equipment or industrial process, process fluids. In an industrial chiller, heat is extracted from a liquid using vapor compression, adsorption refrigeration, or absorption refrigeration. After that, the liquid may be circulated through a heat exchanger to cool equipment or a different process source, such as air or process water. A circulating device circulates cool water or a water/glycol solution from the chiller to the process in most process cooling applications. The warm fluid cools the process while the cool fluid returns it to the chiller. Heat is transferred from the process to the chiller using process water.
