A base jack is also sometimes called a leveling jack or screw leg. They are designed to provide a level foundation for your scaffolding platform. The bottom of the base jack has a 4" X 4" fixed bottom plate as a foot. This base plate is designed to be fastened (by nails or screws) to a wood clay base plates.
