Current selction is infinitely variable from zero to maximum by use of the current control  providede on the control panel and is indicated by the panel meter. the actual current output is determined by the actual cable size and length.
AC Magnetic fields offers the best sensitivity of detection of surface defect indications.
Half-wave DC magnetic Fields provide for the detection of certain sub-surface defect indications.DC fields penetrate a cross section of test area rather than the surface. optional magnetising cables can be equipped with prods for circular magnetisation. The cables can be wrapped to form a coil for logitudinal magnetisation.
Demagnetisation can be performed in asimilar manner.
